In Kamla Nehru Public School, India , we practice them day in and day out. SDG's have been mapped with our curriculum for all classes.

SDGs Post #27 Virtual Tour

21 Students of Grade- X took Ms. Penchon Kongpet, who is teaching English, from Warinchamrap School, Thailand for a Virtual Tour in our school.

She virtally visited our School Library, Head Teacher's Office, our Playgrounds, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and the Computer Science Lab. She loved the School Lawns. She was full of awe to see our Majestic SDG Wall.

Our Mighty SDG wall welcomes one and all who visit our school.
Our Magnificent SDG Wall is a constant reminder of UN 2030 Goals.

SDG's Post #25 SDG Advocacy

"SDG Advocacy" in our School Programme where in we seek Public Support for the United Nation's 2030 Agenda.

We practiced it during the Spring Carnival in Kamla Nehru Public School on 7 Feb 2018.

The wider community participated. Instructions were clear..
STEP 1- Pick up a Goal No. slip.
STEP 2- Hold the placard of the Goal.
STEP 3- Speak about the Goal.

Smiling and satisfied some literate and some illiterate parents of the First Generation Learner of the School were a happy lot. They were on the stage, where their young child had earlier performed on SDG's. Now it was their turn to speak for SDG.

It was wonderful when the mothers modeled on the SDG Song !

SDG's Post #26 - How Do You Sing To Love ?

Participation in International Projects:
Leads to knowing People,
Leads to knowing Places;
Leads to knowing Culture...

One such Project we participated in, was "How Do You Sing To Love ?", inititated by Angels Soriano from Spain. Had met her at E2 Canada in March 2017.

We became Tweetpals and were soon following each other. Ms. Nisha and Ms. Satinder Rai Educators and their group of students researched, prepared Sway, wrote poetry and worked on SDGoal No. 5 "Gender Equality". We focused on how Indian Women are portrayed in Love songs. Students had a Skype Session with Angels and her students. During the SDG Spring Caranival in our school, the wider community, our students' parents joined in and sang songs from Indian films. Songs on Women's role as The mother, The wife, The daughter and as The sister.

7 of XA,
9 of XB,
5 of XC..
21 in All...

Well now they are Principal's 21 of X D. A new section created in February 2018.

We had heart to heart talks. Had met their parents earlier, when a father steps out and start hitting his son. A mother broke down and cried, "Do what you want to do ma'am. She does not listen."

Helpless Parents !
Non Interested Students !
"Help me God," I Prayed.

No more 3 hours Evaluation !
Not another Pre-Board for Principal's Super 21. 
Together we deliberated.
We can Perform.
We can move to the next class.
Of course ! We can clear the X CBSE Board Exam.

A new Class Teacher- Ms. Harmeet.
A new Time Table by Mr. Rajeev.
Met my Super 21 every day.
A Promise Note given by each one to the mother in the School.
"We are going to work hard now.
We will move to the next class."
Now, it is tailored teaching in a tailored Classroom.
SDG#4 (Quality Education).

Well, it did make a difference. The eager Super 21 are now performing. Today is their Final Board Exam- Information Technology.
Lord be by their side during their Exam.
